Transport Shinaji InternationalHaving completed our third year in business (2006-2009) I have to reflect back in our short history to when we came up with the idea of TSI. Even though collectively we have been in the logistics industry for the past forty years and have all been well schooled, we all have the same vision and goal, to create a business that was not the run of the mill. It had to be different in so many ways, we wanted a business that was truly transparent, one that really offered a competitive advantage to its clients and most importantly service focused and driven.

In the first year of trading, we had achieved what many had failed to do, we were communicating with our clients to the point that they could finally focus on their business, Three years later and we are the machine that drives some of the largest international companies, the beauty is that their clients do not even know. This has made us proud as we wanted to make TSI the conduit and not the forefront focus. We found it difficult to place ourselves as we did not have competitors, what we offered was unique in that it did not play a role as broker, transporter or any other part of the logistic chain that we operate in. We were not an outsourced based company either but really a partner that was an extension of your business, we did not pose a threat and never do, as we bring to the table expertise in the logistic field. We offer an IT solution, so we could say that we are an IT based company, but then without the intellectual property behind the system, it would just be another system.

We knew we were on the right path when listed companies were starting to take notice and trying to replicate what we were doing, in fact we came up with the new TSI logo and slogan “Beyond Expectations” after a potential competitor almost replicated what we were doing to the point of changing their colours and logo to look like ours, this just motivated us take our business to the next level and to take this as a confirmation, we were on the right track. There are many companies that offer service, a lot of hype but rarely deliver on the promises, I can assure you that making TSI your partner, you will find that we are what we say we are. So, into the future, where do we see TSI in the next ten years, certainly internationally and certainly offering more of the great innovative service to our clients. So, give TSI the opportunity to work with you in making our industry a transparent and sustainable business.
